Legal Information
Client Terms
Important terms for people submitting a support enquiry through Private Therapy Network.
1. Our role
Private Therapy Network helps people submit a confidential enquiry and may connect them with independent professionals. We do not guarantee that a professional will be available, suitable, affordable or able to help.
2. Not emergency support
The service is not suitable for emergencies, crisis situations or immediate risk. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. If you need urgent medical advice, contact NHS 111. If you need emotional crisis support, contact Samaritans on 116 123.
3. Information you provide
You agree to provide accurate information and not to submit anything abusive, unlawful or deliberately misleading. You should avoid including unnecessary sensitive information.
4. Sharing your enquiry
To help match you with support, we may show anonymised enquiry details to approved professionals and share fuller details where appropriate. We do not sell your personal details as a general mailing list.
5. Independent professionals
Professionals are responsible for their own advice, services, availability, fees, qualifications, insurance, safeguarding duties and client relationships. You should check that any professional is suitable for your needs before proceeding.
6. No guaranteed outcome
We cannot guarantee therapeutic outcome, response time, acceptance by a professional, diagnosis, treatment or results.
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with the platform, contact us using the complaints process. If your complaint relates to a professional’s clinical service, you may also need to use that professional’s own complaints process or contact their professional body.
